SUMMER CAMP 2009!
HIS KIDS Summer Camp 'Down on the Farm' has selected the campers for this years event and guess who's coming? You guessed it...Sheep, Piglets, Turkeys, Roosters, Horses, Rabbits, Cows, Ducks and Goats!!!!
Our summer camp program is divided into three separate camps for the week. We have a camp for children with cancer between the ages of 8-14, siblings of children with cancer between the ages of 8-14, and our C.I.T. camp consists of teens between the ages of 15-17 that are training to become future counselors. Camp provides a unique experience by giving these special children an opportunity to meet others that are going through the same circumstances outside of a hospital environment.
Unfortunately, not all the kids who have applied will be able to attend camp this year. Due to funding and limited space, HIS KIDS has had to turn away 30+ children.
What YOU Can Do To Help
Donation of camp supplies or monetary donations of any size can help these kids have a safe, FUN and 'normal' camp experience this summer.
OUR CAMP ACTIVITY STAFF HAS MANY FUN
IDEAS TO SHARE WITH THE KIDS THIS YEAR
